5 Super Simple Protein Smoothie Recipes

Protein smoothies are pretty go to for me lately.

I love them for post workout.  They are super easy, can be prepped the night before, and are easy to eat on the go.

Even more, you can switch up the flavors and combinations every day so it’s hard to get bored with them.

Here are 5 of my current favorites:

  1. Green Machine

1 scoop of vanilla protein powder

1 cup of fresh kale

1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk

½ cucumber peeled

½ banana

1 cup ice

Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.

2. Chocolate Java Protein Shake

1 cup ice

1 cup almond milk

½ cup cold coffee

1 scoop chocolate protein powder

1 Tbsp mini chocolate chips

Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.

3. Strawberry Banana Smoothie

1 cup of strawberries (or other berry of your choice)

1 cup of unsweetened almond milk

½ small banana

1 cup of spinach

1 scoop of vanilla protein powder

1 cup of ice

Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.

4. Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana

1 cup of almond milk

1 tbsp creamy peanut butter

½ banana

1 scoop of chocolate protein

1 cup of ice

Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.

5. Blueberry Banana Smoothie

1 cup of unsweetened almond milk

½ cup of fresh or frozen blueberries

½ banana

1 cup of spinach

1 scoop of protein powder

1 cup of ice

Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.

 

That’s it!  Super simple, super nutritious, and super quick!
