Happy Hump Day!!

Today I’m bringing you another Wednesday workout.  Typically, I focus on one of the big three (squat, bench, or deadlift) as the basis of my workout.  But every once in a while I’m running low on time or just want to change it up. When this happens, I’ll usually plan a total body circuit of sorts that will keep my heart rate super high and will simultaneously focus on both fat loss and strength gains.

For this workout, the only equipment you will need is a kettle bell (choose a challenging, yet manageable weight) and access to a pull up bar.

First things first, warm up for at least 5 minutes!

Now on to the workout.

Here’s how the workout will go:

10 push ups

12 KB goblet squats

5 chin ups (use a resistance band if you haven’t mastered pull ups yet.  Click here –> http://bit.ly/1LchLqJ for quick demonstration)

20 KB swings

Complete this circuit AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) for 20 minutes.

Take breaks as needed but keep the pace pretty fast.  Of course, ensure that you are always maintaining good form.

This is a quick workout but it is super effective and trust me, it will leave you sweaty and breathless.

Enjoy!
